Too bad California’s spirit sucks! Our governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger decided that California’s air quality is bad enough with all the unstoppable fires raging around, so he banned fireworks in our state! Well actually he “discouraged them” but it doesn’t really matter, cuz folks around here don’t have enough money to buy them anyway . So we didn’t see much excitement in the sky except the neighbors their lighting their few illegal bomb sparklers deported from Mexico. No big deal, I watched my fireworks on demand cable television live from New York

Hey guys. Whats the happs? My weekend went…well. My older sister came home from college for a few days. Her name’s Sophie. My parents are out in New York and they brought my little bro with them so it was just me and her. I hate it, though, when people change so much over a time span of like, 6 months. Sophie used to talk the crud out of you, about her life, about her boyfriend(s), about school…But i think she grew up a bit or something since i last saw her. She actually listened to me when i talked, and emphasized at all the right moments.

Anyways, I took her to church with me. She was a big umm….hit? Haha…everybody loved her. She took me to Malibu today too. Where my skin turned about 50 shades darker with a hint of bright red. Ugh.

Postsecret Card of the week (yeah i know you get bored of these, but deal with it cuz i like them)

So Opus’s post got me thinking about Wal-mart. And all the stupid things you could do within its walls. I made a list. Of thing’s i have done, and heard of people doing…in wal-mart. Feel free to try them out.

1. Put M&M’s on layaway

2. TP as much of the store as possible

3. Randomly throw things into the neighboring aisles.

4. When someone asks you if you need help, begin to cry and ask “why dont you people just leave me alone?”

5. Look right into the security camera using it as a mirror to pick your nose.

6. move caution wet floor signs to carpeted areas.

7. walk down the isles with a friend of the same sex pretending you are a gay couple.

8. move one cd into all the best seller places.

9. pay off layaways 50 cents at a time

10. set off alarm clocks to go off at 10 minute intervals throughout the day

11. try on bras over your clothes.

12. make a trail of orange juice leading to the ground going to the restrooms

13. walk up to an employee and say in a official tone of voice, i think we’ve got a code 3 in housewares.

14. set up a tent in the camping department tell other costumers that you will only invite them in if they bring a pillow from bed and bath.

15. contaminate the entire auto department by sampling all their air fresheners

16. switch the men and womens signs on the restroom door

17. In the auto department, practice your “Madonna” look with various funnels.

18. Drag a lounge chair on display over to the magazines and relax. If the store has a food court, buy a soft drink; explain that you don’t get out much.

19. Go into the dressing room and yell real loud…”Hey, were out of toliet paper in here!”

20. Play with the automatic doors.

21. As the cashier runs your purchases over the scanner, look mesmerized and say, “Wow. Magic!”

22. Nonchalantly “test” the brushes and combs in Cosmetics.

23. Drape a blanket around your shoulders and run around saying, “…I’m Batman. Come, Robin–to the Batcave

24. Dart around suspiciously while humming the theme from “Mission:Impossible.”

25. Hide in the clothing racks and when people browse through, say things like “the fat man walks alone,” and scare them into believing that the clothes are talking to them

29. In the makeup department, spray yourself with every perfume there is, then walk up to a boy who is with another girl and start flirting with him in that annoying, ditsy way. “hi!!!! I think we need a new post.

First….Here’s the postsecret card of the week.

Haha it reminds me of my little brother.

So…we’ve all been busy lately. And distracted.
But if they say it’s all over, and they mean it? Let’s not speak of it again. But i did receive about 300 hits in just 2 days alone from this fight, and that’s a big jump for me. I usually only get 300 in a whole week.

I had an insanely longgg weekend. Saturday I decided I needed to be out of the house for awhile and took the bus to center of the city and walked around a bit. It felt pretty good, new kinda independence thing. Went to a few music/record shops and saw my old band director working at one. (Who knew his specialty was the rock&roll section?) But he gave me a discount for being a student of his and I bought the Beatles “Love” CD and The Clash “London Calling”

Sunday I’d rather not talk about. Monday i got the stomach flu and spent the night puking my insides out. (nothing more to say there) but i feel better

And now we’ve reached the present.

The contests have been ignored for a good 2 reasons. 1 they suck. 2 everybody’s been concentrating on this ridiculous fight (which i don’t blame them. It’s been pretty entertaining) But I’m extending the story 1 for another few weeks. And the other 1 lasts until we get 75 comments. And yes, I’ve been slacking off on the Song of the Day, but i have a new one today. Enjoy.

(oh hey. speaking of. I want to change my name. Not cuz josh (fylipper) said it was stupid. But cuz i want a change anyway. I don’t live up to the name’s status But i mean well. Any ideas for a new name? Maybe just…Brian will do. But that’s boring.)

Ugh….I am so tired. I didn’t get any sleep. All because of this stupid kid.

A few days ago a friend of my mom’s asked us to baby sit her 13 month old kid for 3 days while they went to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Well they dropped off the kid (Addison, but i call her the kid) on Monday and said they would call us on Thursday morning so they could pick her up.

Coincidently, my mom works days so she dumped the kid on me and told me to take care of her. I had to actually bribe my cousin to come over so she would take care of the kid while i went to lifeguard and band camp. It’s so very annoying. She’s a baby, i know, but she flies above all the babies in the world when it comes to irritation. She cries constantly until you pick up and hold her, you can’t walk even 5 feet away from her body or she’ll freak out, she eats all the time, she doesn’t sleep…. is this what taking a care of a baby is like? Is this normal? Whatever, I wasn’t used to taking care of kids. I couldn’t wait to see her leave. But yesterday her parents called and ASKS “US” (meaning ME) TO TAKE CARE OF HER FOR ANOTHER 3 DAYS!

So I’m stuck with this kid, until Saturday. Another 48 hours. I can’t do this….

IN OTHER NEWS: I can’t think of anything else. At least not related to the blog world. Besides Opus leaving.

I forgot about The Postsecret Card of the Week. So here it is…They were all about father’s day so it was hard for me to choose.

It seems I have caught a deadly, dangerous, contagious disease, my friends. Or maybe it’s just the flu. But either way it doesn’t feel so great. Which sucks, cuz i have band camp this week. And i start lifeguard shifts tomorrow. ugh…i actually feel green.

I have landed a summer job, my friends. 1 of my friend’s brother’s girlfriend’s cousin is a lifeguard at the local pool and said it was really cool and the pay was nice. So i decided to apply for lifeguarding training. I didn’t think the park committee would accept me because of my age but they sent up an appointment for next week. I already know CPR from health class, i just have to go through the basic training. And i’m so happy because i need the money (and the tan) and the job is the perfect cliche classic summer job! (My other option was filing papers at my moms office and i passed on that)

So does anyone else have any summer jobs i can congratulate them on? I know zipo is volunteering at a forest camp….i think. So umm yeah. how’s everyone’s summer going? It’s been pretty busy, and i’m not getting many views/hits/visitors but that’s okay cuz IT”S SUMMER!!!!
